3:17 PM - A conversation with a mountain
In the name of Allah, the All Merciful, the All CompassionateI am words, I can do incredible things.I can help you be inspired.I can help you be wise.I can help you hope.But my powers only take me so far. I found that out the day I tried to visit the summit of a mountain so as to describe the beautiful view from up there. Yet the mountain prevented me.
So I looked up at the mountain and I asked it:
“Why do you not permit me to visit the summit?”
The mountain stared back at me not uttering a word.
In frustration I tried again to climb the mountain yet found myself not being able to move.
I looked up at the silent mountain towering over me.
Then suddenly… I heard the silent mountain...
I am high and thus I am steep.So you cannot reach me without blood, without sweat and without tears.This is only the fair price.Yet I am merely words.
